FRAMEWORK

Belonging Framework

A lens that can shape what feels safe to reveal, ask for, or hold back.

THE PREMISE

Connection may feel safer when I understand what is expected of me and stay within the boundaries of what will preserve belonging.

WHAT IT CAN LOOK LIKE

You may edit yourself, minimize a need, avoid disagreement, adapt quickly to a group, or hesitate to reveal something that could change how others see you.

WHERE FRICTION CAN DEVELOP

Preserving belonging can become more important than being fully present as yourself within the relationship or environment.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO NOTICE

Notice the difference between adapting because you choose to and disappearing because belonging feels at risk.

REFLECTION

What part of myself am I making smaller in order to remain connected here?

YOUR FRAMEWORKS MAY CHANGE BY CONTEXT

You may operate through one framework in your relationships and a very different one with work, finances, family, health, or yourself. The Framework Assessments are an opportunity to see what may be especially active in a specific area of your life right now.
